apple iPhone

Apple had their big event yesterday and rolled out basically what we expected…and a little less.

A rebranded iPhone5. An iPhone5S with a slamming processor, fingerprint sensor and a better camera.

I don’t think that most people will be able to tell the difference because last year’s iPhone was already more powerful than a Mac Pro from 5 years ago. Handheld computing is a wonderful thing but at some point the size of the interface limits what you will choose to do with the platform, not the speed of the processor.

I am a fan of the elegant simplicity of Apple, but I see a company founded on innovation that has shifted to a company based on evolution. It has pushed me to another platform, not because I am so convinced that Android is better, but because, frankly, I am bored.

Are you going to upgrade?
