I have a hard time criticizing the logic and insight of this article over at TechCrunch.
For years, I have mentally pictured the crew at Google as the boys in White hats. Perhaps I have missed the point on all of this. As I do some trawling through their balance sheets I notice that Google and Apple’s total current assets are both in the 41 Billion range at the end of 2010 but Microsoft’s are in the 74 Billion range.
How has Microsoft ceased to be the bad guy in this equation? Have they just proven themselves to be too bumbling to be concerned about?
